The aim of the course is to familiarize students with various aspects of intercultural communication, which is of such importance in the contemporary globalized world. To help understand the process and levels of communication and possible obstacles that may be encountered during this process.

- Levels of communication: language, paralanguage, proxemics, haptics, kinesics.
- Culture as communication: E. Hall’s model.
- Dimensions of culture: G. Hofstede.
